Responsibilities of the Senior Auditor

Audit Leadership:

• Design and implement audit plans for financial systems.
• Oversee audits to ensure financial information accuracy.
• Assess and improve financial system controls.

Risk Management:

• Identify risks and vulnerabilities in financial systems.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• The senior auditor will collaborate with the Controller on risk management plans.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• The senior auditor will monitor industry standards and best practices.
• Advise management on regulatory changes.

Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of audit processes.
• Present audit outcomes to senior management.

Collaboration and Mentorship:

• The senior auditor will work with IT and finance teams on financial system audits.
• Mentor junior auditors to support their professional growth.
• Assist in developing corrective actions and process improvements.

Qualifications of the Senior Auditor:

• 5 years of experience as an auditor
• Must have a Bachelors degree in related field
• Highly skilled using ERP systems
• Be a team player
