Growing, fast-paced, employee-owned engineering and construction company is looking to add a sharp Payroll Specialist to their team!

The Payroll Specialist will work within a payroll department with two others and will report to the Payroll Manager.

Payroll Specialist Duties :

• process bi-monthly payroll for 375 employees using PayCom and Deltek Vantagepoint
• union and non-union payroll for multiple entities
• respond to employee inquiries and make employee change requests
• assist the accounting department with month-end close when it pertains to payroll accountants
• file worker's compensation reports and tax reports
• other payroll duties as needed

Payroll Specialist Skills and Experience :

• 4 years of multi-state payroll processing experience
• CPP is a plus!
• experience with Paycom is a plus
• intermediate Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
• strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Hours for the Payroll Specialist are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 - 5 : 00 (with flexibility) in a business-casual office
