About The Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity And OrganizationOur client is a growing leader in the retail sector who is building out their finance function and team. This Senior Financial Analyst is a newly created position that is seeking a candidate who will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment to help shape and build the finance function and team. The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will enjoy building dashboards, modeling, and analysis work. This position is one where there is plenty of growth opportunity and will work directly with and report to the CFO.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Financial Analyst
- Analyzing records of present and past operations, trends, and costs.
- Own the FP&A process for the current year and prepare budget for the following year.
- Document revenues and expenditures expected and submitting to management.
- Prepare items for monthly close, invoicing, and grant compliance.
- Develop financial models for financial planning and control.
- Create documentation of finance, data, and analytics processes.
- Perform other finance, business, data, and reporting tasks as assigned.

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, business
- MBA in Finance, Business or Business Analytics ( )

- Advanced Excel skills - VBA experience preferred
