Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
• Maintain a well-documented system of accounting procedures and policies.
• Act as a backup for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• The Staff Accountant will engage in special projects as needed, contributing to the company's strategic initiatives.

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Experience in large or international companies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in journal entries, month-end assistance, fixed assets management, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• At least 2 years of solid general accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
