The manager will oversee the corporate accounting process, perform technical accounting research, and provide guidance for complex or unusual transactions across the organization. What Success Looks Like:

• Manage two corporate accountants and oversee the monthly corporate accounting process.
• Improve monthly close process and reduce time to close, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of the intercompany consolidation process with all entities, both foreign and domestic.
• Provide accounting guidance for complex or unusual transactions such as acquisitions/divestitures, legal transactions, impairment analyses, investments, and other non-routine complex business transactions.
• Update and maintain accounting policies in accordance with GAAP while incorporating disparity in business structure.
• Prepare/review timely, high quality technical accounting memos on all key technical accounting matters for internal records or submissions to the independent auditor.
• Oversee and coordinate lease accounting processes, procedures, and accounting entity wide.
• Assist SEC Reporting Manager with complex regulatory reporting matters and consolidated financial reporting as needed.
• Manage ad hoc reporting for regulatory entities as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and documentation of controls environment and coordinate periodic internal audits.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and manage responsibilities and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Take initiative, seek, and act on opportunities to improve department’s performance.
• Collaborative and effective team player, able to work with teams who are globally dispersed.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.

Your Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related field) and CPA required.
• 5-7 years accounting experience and previous combination of public accounting (Big 4) and industry experience preferred.
• 2 years supervisory experience required, including reviewing the work of others.
• Must have strong Excel data analysis skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
• At least one year of technical accounting research required.
• Familiarity with and OneStream/HFM preferred (but not required).

The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $150,000 with the potential to receive an annual bonus up to a maximum of 50% of annual base salary.
