Creative Food Group is Hiring a General Manager of Le Clou - The Morrow Hotel Near Washington, DC
Creative Food Group is the leading hospitality team behind the award-winning restaurants by Nicholas Stefanelli. Established in 2014 by Chef Nicholas Stefanelli & Paul Jeon, Creative Food Group takes our guests through culinary experiences from the fine dining critically acclaimed Masseria to culinary collective Officina, and now to the new luxury hotel The Morrow in Washington's vibrant Union Market neighborhood, a part of the DC Curio Collection by Hilton. In terms of both cuisine and service, our standards are high – and so are those of our guests. Our Michelin-star group is seeking a General Manager for one of our concepts. As the general manager you will oversee all front and back of house operations as well as work closely with the leadership and support team. Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in front of house floor management
Must have strong background in wine and wine service standards; with an extensive depth of knowledge of old-world wine producing regions
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Michelin-starred experience and/or fine dining experience
Experience with using Harri, Agilysys and Open Table
TIPS certified
Bilingual/multilingual

Key Responsibilities
Operations experience in positions of Maitre d’, Bar Operations, Sommelier, and Service Director
Product order and sourcing
Organization and cleanliness
Managing overall restaurant cost, and SOP’s
Scheduling
Assist Beverage Director in all related tasks
Manage opening and closing cash handling procedures
Supervise dining room floor and guest services
Communicate with chefs daily for menu updates
Assist in the training of new staff members
Monitor inventory procedures and organize data
Successfully work as a team player in a dynamic team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to squat, crouch, bend over
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
