About the Visual Designer role

We are looking for a Visual Designer to work across mediums and evolve our aesthetic and brand. This person’s responsibilities are focused on the creation of captivating visuals and identities. Assignments will span merch, collateral, both on-site and online touchpoints, and often projects will include all of the above. Your work will inherently help evolve, build and shape that brand. The other key component of this role will be working alongside internal and external teams to launch and evolve identities for bars and restaurants across our properties. You’ll work closely with our lead designer. You’ll report to our SVP of Design and Creative.

Responsibilities Include

• Concept and design custom collateral - from printed materials to apparel and merchandise - across both multiple hotel properties and restaurant brands, through the production phase.
• Support brand identity efforts across hotel and restaurant projects.
• Support social content creation from concept to completion.
• Design in-house presentation and recruiting materials.
• Work with our Head of Programming to design necessary signage and collateral.
• Work with our Marketing team and Senior Designer to concept and design advertising materials.
• Research and support artist outreach for in-room environments.
• Work with our digital partners to update website content.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience as a visual designer at agencies, studios, on an in-house team.
• Fluency in the Adobe Suite and Figma; working knowledge of Asana, Google apps and Office; experience with Procreate a plus; ability to animate and experience with After Effects or other motion software a plus.
• Illustration ability.
• Good attention to detail; motivated and proactive - have strong ability to push projects forward and retain momentum; take a collaborative approach across teams.
• Are excited about helping to build a brand and company from its early days.
• Ability to work within a high-energy, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Passionate about hospitality, travel, and the outdoors.
• Hospitality experience a plus.
