We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Controller to support our growing portfolio of brands.

Job Description:

As a key member of our finance department, the Regional Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations across multiple regions/divisions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role offers upward mobility to Controller and beyond based on individual performance and drive. We are seeking a Regional Controller to oversee financial activities in our portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional Excel skills, prepare comprehensive financial reports proficiently, and have experience managing a team of accountants. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at performing full General Ledger (GL) reporting and consolidations from applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, coordinating workload distribution and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Perform full GL reporting and reconciliations, consolidate financial data from multiple reporting applications.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Effectively collaborate with IT teams and understand financial data systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within Home Services. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems
• Preferred experience with Service Titian.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Basic understanding of IT and Database Structure. Familiarity with basic IT concepts and database structures is desired to effectively collaborate with IT teams and understand financial data systems.
• Candidates with prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or relevant industry experience preferred.
