Credence Management Solutions is Hiring a Facility Security Officer (FSO) Near Mc Lean, VA
Credence Management Solutions is seeking a Facility Security Officer in a Hybrid role to support in Tyson's Corner- McLean VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Must have the ability to interpret, administer and follow directives as identified in the National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM) 32 CFR Part 117
- Must be able to perform the clearance processing for multiple government & contractor sites with demonstrated past performance as indicated by ability to verify/confirm clearance & accesses of new hires and current employees.
- Must be experienced with conducting security training and briefings, as required.
- Must be able to assist with administering and coordinating the security program and other related security activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Must be proficient understanding of DoD policies, guidance, and best practices.
- Must have strong attention to detail to assist with NISP self-inspection requirements and compliance audit elements.
- Must understand and communicate clearance verification information.
- Must be able to coordinate and work directly with the government customer and government support offices.
- Will need to track the progress of requested security forms and submissions (occasional high volume) and provide regular status updates to the team as needed.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a strong customer service focus with a professional demeanor.
- The successful candidate should have enthusiastic energy to work on multiple programs, industrial and personnel security with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field a plus.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- 1 years as an AFSO or FSO (Must provide certificate from CDSE’s FSO for Non-Possessing Facilities curriculum within first 3-6 months of employment.)
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with DCSA Systems & Applications including but not limited to DISS, eQIP/eAPP, NBIS, SWFT
- Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
