Overview

Credence Management Solutions is seeking a Risk Management (Ops Research Analyst), Senior for our Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Integration program. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Integration Directorate (AFNWC/NC) mission is to deliver integrated NC3 capabilities warfighters use every day to deter and assure. The Directorate ensures ongoing NC3 programs, legacy systems and new capabilities are fully integrated as part of the Air Force’s overall effort to sustain, modernize, and recapitalize the nuclear enterprise. The Directorate serves as an integrator ensuring that current and future NC3 capabilities across the spectrum are being evaluated and considered in concert.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

The Risk Management Branch is responsible for monitoring, assessing and reporting on AF NC3 Weapon System Risks. The branch integrates risks, issues and opportunities across the constituent systems that comprise the AF NC3 WS and its external dependencies for submission to the Risk Management Working Group (RMWG) and AF NC3 Weapon System Risk Management Board (RMB). The branch integrates into other NC3 forums including the NCI Steering Group, Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and NC3 Strategic Team.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Developing, managing, and executing processes for tracking risks across the AF NC3 WS program populace.
  • Coordinating with PEOs/SPOs to identify, analyze, report, and manage risks utilizing lifecycle risk management systems/policies.
  • Aggregating and analyzing periodic risk report and mitigation plans being developed and executed through the owning program offices.
  • Providing support to the Directorate, Divisions, or Weapon System programs as required by the Government.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS Degree
  • 3 to 10 years of experience

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Position may require lifting of objects not to exceed 25 lbs.
  • May be required to walk/travel across work location.
  • May be required to stand for extended period.
