Description
To provide clinical supervision and oversight of clinical services at the Women's Community Residence.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain standards that apply to Confidentiality and 42 CFR/HIPAA.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Program Director in the oversight of clinical services and supervision of clinical staff.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the program
  • Provide supervision to clinical staff according to OASAS Scope of Practice guidelines.
  • Maintain supervisory paperwork including supervision logs, performance reviews and annual goals.
  • Maintain client records per OASAS standards and agency policy and procedures and ensure clinical staff follow these standards
  • Complete quarterly chart audits to review for compliance
  • Track clinical services for all clients
  • Review and sign off on all clinical documentation
  • Coordinate with Program Director and Intake Coordinator to assess referrals for appropriateness as needed
  • Manage assigned case load using approved tools to evaluate, assess, and provide treatment for clients.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients
  • Utilize multidisciplinary team from various Credo programs to collaborate care for client needs
  • Utilize Evolv (electronic health record) to maintain client records, complete reports and scanning of materials.
  • Provide services in a culturally- and linguistically competent and sensitive manner.
  • Participate in supervision at least bi-weekly.
  • Attend and participate in relevant training while maintaining credential/license.
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service and conference/trainings as assigned.
  • Convey information inter/intra agency.
  • Provide staff in-service training on a variety of related topics.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Supervise and participate with residents during recreational, vocational, and educational activities including meal preparation, cleaning, hygiene, nutrition, and daily chores.
  • Maintain a safe environment, ensuring the welfare of clients.
  • Engage residents in the use of Independent Living Skill activities.
  • Utilize program consumables and supplies cost effectively
  • Responsible for oversight of self-administration of medications.
  • Transport residents as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of prompt medical attention in cases of illness or accident, report any such incidents to the Program Director, complete untoward incident reports and documentation as required.
  • Utilize the on-call system as needed.
  • Be available to residents for support, encouragement and direction when needed.
  • Staff must account for all residents. Conduct regular house and bed checks according to procedure.
  • Participate in assigned supervision
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Three years clinical experience in providing chemical dependency treatment, and be able to provide clinical supervision according to OASAS (Office of Addiction Services and Supports) Scope of Practice (CASAC-Advanced Counselor or higher with OASAS Clinical Supervision Training or Licensed by NYS)

Support the goal of person-centered treatment
And
Must subscribe to a Professional Canon of Ethics.
Other Job Requirements: Must maintain a valid Driver's License, as specified in the personnel policies. Must maintain all laws and policies concerning confidentiality, security, and client rights as specified in the employee handbook, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA. Must maintain current certification and/or training as specified by state law and agency regulation.
