As a key member of the senior management team, the PRP Director is responsible for the overall management of the PRP Program, which includes but is not limited to maintaining program operations, staff, recruitment of clients, obtaining authorizations, collaborating with treatment teams, and establishing and following a set of policies and processes. The PRP Director ensures that the program or facility is adhering to the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards, the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) regulations, The Joint Commission regulations, and Medicaid Funding requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain CPRP, CFRP, & DLA-20 certifications by completing required training.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and policy and regulations changes by reading and attending training and conferences to ensure program compliance with relevant laws, regulation, and ethical standards.
Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Rehabilitation Specialist and the PRP Coordinators.
Build and grow a strong and stable workforce through recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of PRP staff.
Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and professional development opportunities to all PRP program staff.
Present the company and its services publicly to potential referral sources in the community.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including mental health providers, referral sources, and funding agencies.
Serve as the Director of Quality Improvement to define, implement and revise operational policies and guidelines for the program.
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, policies, processes, and staff.
The PRP Director works with the Senior Vice President and other members of the leadership team to set the organization's strategic goals.
Education & Experience Requirements:
A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field is highly valued.
Professional certifications in Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
