JOB SUMMARY
This individual will work directly with Specialty Sales Manager and CM Lead. There will be interaction with various other roles across the organization including Marketing, Outside Sales, Customer Service Reps, Shipping, Warehouse, QA, USDA, Supervisors (across all departments) and the receptionist. This job will handle a variety of different tasks, such as online orders, samples, case-ready program and manage inventory of department products and supplies. Time management and attention to detail ensure that online e-commerce orders as well as samples are filled completely in a timely manner as noted on the orders. This individual is expected to work closely with various departments using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Set up for production area for packing daily (get dry ice, ice packs, clear out cooler)
• Print packing slips & UPS labels for each individual shipment.
• Pack shipments. Attention to detail is very important in ensuring that products being packed meet quality standards and that the correct item and quantity are shipped out to end-user customers.
• Organize shipments by delivery method (FedEx Ground or Express) and help with loading packages at pick-up time.
• Conduct and maintain accurate inventory of product coolers and supplies
• Keep/Organize freezer
• Defrost chillers
• Pull samples and weigh product in/scan, pack according to shipping method
• Scanning product in and out of the inventory system and locating to proper area
• Monitoring, Documenting and Communication of the Plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to assure that they are properly implemented.
• Serve as the final QA check before items leave our building for delivery to customers.
• Knowledge of beef and pork items is helpful but not required.
• Additional job duties as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift 0 – 80 lbs; Able to work in hot and cold environments; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
