JOB SUMMARY

The ISH (Ingredient Solutions & Hides) Supervisor’s role is to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Bone Grind, Hides and Secondary Output areas. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising the work of ISH maintenance Team Members and helping with the upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment in the above-mentioned areas. The supervisor role is responsible for continuously developing and mentoring Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Plan, organize and safety direct the work of the ISH maintenance team

• Ensure that all equipment within bone grind, hides and secondary output areas are fully functional for the needs of the production teams

• Creates and maintains all preventative maintenance procedures and requirements in collaboration with the ISH maintenance superintendent

• Verify that all work performed by team is done in accordance with the standards set forth by the preventative maintenance and reliability programs

• Enforce all safety, food safety, GMP and housekeeping procedures to maintain team safe, product safe and areas clean and organized

• Ensure effective communication with production, quality and safety team members and management with regards to equipment downtime or repairs

• Oversee the training/cross training of assigned team members, appraises performance and initiates disciplinary processes

• Maintain all maintenance KPI reports relating to PMs, WOs, expenses for the ISH maintenance area

• Verify labor hours and payroll report accuracy for assigned team members

• Keep assigned team members accountable for all work

• Assist with the needs of the ISH production team as needed

• All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience with knowledge in industrial electrical and mechanical systems required.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of preventative maintenance techniques/scheduling

• Good computer skills (excel, work, PowerPoint, outlook, etc.)

• Ability to maintain high expectations for self and others, demonstrating a dedication to achievement of results

• Able to work productively and independently, good time management skills

• Clear communication skills – verbally and in written form

• Ability to take direction

• Good attitude
