The Expertise We’re Looking For:

· Prior Experience Working in Financial Services Industry (Required)

· Active State-Specific Life & Health Insurance License (Required)

· Series 65/66 (Required)

· High School Diploma (Required)

· Bachelor’s or associate degree in finance or similar field (Preferred)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

· Be able to travel to and from all four offices, when needed, which are located in Metairie, Houma, Mandeville and Baton Rouge.

· Proactively call out to prospects and clients to book appointments

· Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs

· Prepare and participate in existing client annual review meetings

· Participate in client meetings, track and complete follow up items generated in client meetings

· Explain features, advantages, concepts and disadvantages of investments and insurance products to meet client/prospect needs

· Assist in handling client inquiries and service requests

· Take detailed notes and enter information into database for financial plan preparation and review

· Generate and provide various reports to advisor

· Case design and illustrations of financial products best suited for client

· Assist in marketing out to prospects

· Prioritize day-to day tasks and issues

· Assist advisor with meeting individual and team goals

· Operate with a proactive approach to advisors and clients

· Maintain database programs

· Respond to client inquiries as needed

· Complete and process servicing requests as needed

· Resolve any issues regarding new accounts, transfers, or amendments

· Provide market research on various investments and amendments

Salary: $50,000 annually plus bonus/commission structure
