Title: Controller

Coordinates with: Project Management, Purchasing, Management 

Job Type: Salary – Full Time 

$70,000 - $100,000

Purpose and Scope: The Controller position is responsible for managing the company’s finances across all locations, including entry, financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, purchasing, payables, and financial reporting. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Manage financial controls and accounting procedures and ensure they conform with governmental regulations and operate efficiently. 
• Required transaction entries and journal entries. 
• All sales tax payments, returns, journal entries. 
• Provide advice to Management on how to increase revenue and reduce costs 
• Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments through developing relationships with customers and vendors. 
• Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required. 
• Work with the President/CEO on the strategic vision of the company. 
• Ensure the Financial statements for all locations are accurate and fairly stated monthly. 
• Bank reconciliation – all locations. 
• Manage banking relationships. 
• Manage accounting firm relationship. 
• Monitor banking activities of all divisions to ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs. 
• Oversee all purchasing, receiving, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll processes to ensure all information is accurately recorded. 
• Continually investigate more cost-effective processes, including benefit programs, company insurance, etc. 

Education & Skills:

· BSA in Accounting or Finance-related field

· Experience in QuickBooks

· CPA Certified

· 5 Years of accounting experience

· 2 Years of experience with integrating financials of a multi-divisional organization

· Basic knowledge of the technology industry
