Job Summary
We are looking for a Director of Housekeeping to oversee the cleanliness of the resort, rooms, and laundry areas.You will be responsible for the planning, organization, development and direction for the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with federal, state, local, and property standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities

• Direct Housekeeping Team to meet the highest of cleaning standards while maintaining assignments within budget, quality and schedule
• Schedule shifts within weekly and monthly labor productivities
• Evaluates safe work practices in job performance reviews and on a daily basis
• Maintains the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc. and the appearance of Housekeeping areas, and performs regular inspections of common areas and guest and storage rooms for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties
• Assures that Housekeeping staff follows established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies at all times
• Requisitions all Housekeeping supplies and equipment and maintains adequate inventory levels to provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment
• Prepares and plans the Housekeeping Department's budget and submits to the Director of Operations for review and approval
• Develops and maintains written policy and procedures for housekeeping and laundry areas

• Communicates with other departments to plan and coordinate Housekeeping/Laundry services for activities, events, projects, etc.

• Seeks out new methods and principles to incorporate into existing Housekeeping practices

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum or 3 years of Management or Supervisor experience within a Hotel / Housekeeping Role.
Knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Opera Cloud, Birchstreet, and UKG programs

This is a full - time exempt position that reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Hours and days will be on a needed basis, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
The employee will be required to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl at any given time and lift, move up to 25 - 35 pounds.
Must be eligible to work in USA.
