Position Summary
Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.
Must-Haves:
1.- Graduate of a Program in Nursing at Bachelors of Science level or higher required
2.- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire
3.- Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required
4.- Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital required
5.- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire
Nice-To-Haves:
1.- Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred
2.- Master's degree preferred
3.- 5 years in Surgical Services t leadership or leadership in critical care hospital upper management
4.- Moderate Sedation Certification preferred
