Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc. is an established nation-wide manufacturer with immediate opening for a full-time Compounder located in our manufacturing facility in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Job Duties

This valued team member operates plastic mixing equipment to make blended materials, ensuring correct equipment setup and material selection for correct recipes for blended materials. 

• Responsible for start-up and shut-down of the system
• Completes monitoring functions and quality review of product
• Review mixing schedule; select and assemble recipes for required products
• Adjusts, repairs and maintains equipment as needed
• Communicates with the previous compounder to discuss any irregularities or special instructions that need to be followed
• Utilizes the forklift to move raw materials
• Keep work area organized and clean

Requirements

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to work independently 
• OSHA Forklift license preferred but not required
• Able to adapt under stress or unusual situation
• Multitasking skills without loss of efficiency or composure
• Attention to detail, especially in situations requiring precise limits, tolerances or standards
• All individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to background and drug screening
