Medium-sized plastics manufacturing company located in Tucker seeking Human Resources/Occupational Safety Coordinator. Company is well established and has been in operation for over 30 years. Position does not require previous experience as all training will be provided. You will just need a willingness to learn. Bilingual (English/Spanish) would be ideal for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Interview and onboard new production staff; manage online recruitment, background and referral checks and being the point of contact for outside recruitment agencies
- Maintain development programs to include employee handbooks, safety manual and other procedural documents
- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and practices
- Use an occupational safety inspection program as a proactive tool for improvement compliance and challenge existing practices, where appropriate
- Continuously train all staff weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually based on needs of the plant
- Injury reporting, follow-up and root cause investigation
- Review and analyze reports, records and directives relating to both Human Resources and Occupational Safety
- Lead by example and strive for continuous improvements
- Misc office tasks as needed

Schedule is for a 8-hour day shift, Monday - Friday
