We are a fusion of two unique Marriott® brands with 504 combined rooms, a Full Service Restaurant, Roof Top Bar and 10,200 SQ FT of flexible meeting and event space. We offer prime proximity to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Metro, Smithsonian Museums, CityCenter DC dining and shopping, and local businesses in the heart of downtown Washington, DC.
Overview:
The Accounting Manager will supervise Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashier and Income Audit. They will report to the Director of Finance and supervise the daily operations ensuring compliance with the Company's SOPs and LSOPs, GAAP and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This position requires the candidate to analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure financial information is readily available and accurate. The Accounting Manager will assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecast, taxes and other financial reports. They will also train, monitor and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and information flow to other departments. They will ensure smooth operation by resolving issues in the accounting systems.
