Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care in a veterinary setting.

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Handle and restrain animals during treatment
- Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal husbandry and basic medical terminology
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and colleagues
- Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
