Title: Charge Nurse (LVN or LPT) 

Job Duties: TheCharge Nurse (LVN or LPT) assesses, plans, organizes, develops, implements, and evaluates all the activities related to nursing standards of care, professional development, operational function, and communication throughout the facility. These activities will be performed in compliance with the mission, philosophy, and policies of Crestwood Behavioral Health Center. The Charge Nurse (LVN or LPT) actively participates in and adheres to all organizational and departmental goals and objectives. The Charge Nurse (LVN or LPT) is responsible for the client care delivered on the clinical unit and reports to the Director of Nursing Services.

Schedule: Full-Time (AM)

Qualifications: 

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

PHFs are for clients who require stabilization, medication management, behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, psychosocial education and a transition plan to enable a successful return to their community. Crestwood’s Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay.
