Crete United is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Kennesaw, GA

Position Summary

The AP/AR and HR Generalist will be operationally focused and responsible for providing services and support in a wide array of functional areas of Human Resources. Success in this role will be defined by a strong, healthy business culture that supports organizational and career growth. The HR Generalist will report to the Controller.

Key Deliverables

  • Strong retention metrics by delivering optimized human capital policies, workflow, and effective resolution of HR-related matters.
  • Effective management of the HCM system to include delivering timely and accurate payroll, benefit administration, and payroll/HR reporting
  • A safe, fair, and competitive culture by ensuring compliance with all Federal, state, and local HR-related legislation.

Position Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete weekly payroll and maintain employee data in the HCM system
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Regularly interact with the employees and leadership; understand local culture and challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Provide personnel guidance to management and respond to human-resources-related inquiries.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Assist with compensation and benefits planning and administration including coordination of annual open enrollment and employee education.
  • Manage the employee onboarding and performance management process.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation; resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Remain current with Federal, State, and Local HR laws, legislation, and trends, ensure compliance with each.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Prepare and analyze reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements - Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years human resources and payroll experience.
  • Strong experience with HCM/HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly establish trust and form connections with employees.
  • Self-motivated and able to execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellenttime management,organizational skills,and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate to include above average skills with Microsoft applications.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with UKG Pro (formerly Ulti Pro)
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Salary $48,000 USD
