Commercial HVAC Helper Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting HVAC Techs and Sheet Metal Mechanics on job sites. Works at construction sites, factories, businesses, and residences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep work area clean and neat.

• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.

• Supplies Techs with materials and tools, using hand trucks, or by carrying material.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Any type of construction experience is a plus but not a requirement. You bring a solid work ethic and a positive attitude and we'll train.

Looking for someone with an interest in a career in construction and who enjoys working safely and efficiently outside.

Working Conditions:

• Physical effort required involving long periods of reaching overhead, climbing, stooping, bending and standing with routine discomfort from exposure to less-than-optimal temperature and air condition; may be exposed to heights, electrical power, and hazardous conditions. Protective equipment and clothing may be required; may work some overtime, weekends, evening and holiday hours; lifting and carrying objects up to 100 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $16 to $19 an hour DOE
