Project Manager (Data Center) -, Reno, Nevada

Overview:

• Role: Construction Project Manager
• Company: A global leader in engineering, design, construction, and smart manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor and report on project financial status.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Purchase and oversee material delivery ensuring quality and specification conformance.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
• Review and approve payment requests.
• Issue and manage changes in the work.
• Ensure projects meet technical and customer satisfaction requirements.
• Prepare reports (monthly red files, progress schedules, billings, status reports).
• Maintain job files and continuity of workflow.
• Submit verbal and written project status reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Estimate project costs and prepare proposals.
• Enforce safety and quality programs on site.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands/arms, reaching, and talking/hearing.
• Regular climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Frequent lifting/moving up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Accurate near and distant vision.
• Moderate noise level in office; moderate to loud on job sites.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions (wet, humid, mechanical parts, weather).
• Relocation to Reno, Nevada required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise project support team members and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of construction management experience, especially in large industrial projects.
• Lead project manager experience required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
