DESCRIPTION:

The Summer Events Coordinator will assist the senior leadership with the planning and execution of strategic partnerships and community events in the Orlando area. While scratch-made, healthy food is what Crisp & Green does best, we also believe that nourishing your healthy lifestyle goes beyond the kitchen. That’s why we partner with like-minded fitness and wellness businesses and individuals in our communities to bring individuals together, regardless of where they are on their healthy journey. We host complimentary fitness and wellness classes at our restaurants as well as off-site that are fun, empowering, inclusive and welcoming to all. We are building out our biggest summer event series yet - and we want you to be a part of it!

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and assist senior leadership with planning and execution of frequent community and wellness events
• Research local events and potential partners
• Act as lead at events, partnering with instructors, checking in guests, interacting with guests, informing about the brand, giving samples, etc
• Provide creative ideas to make Crisp & Green events unique and attractive to draw new customers
• Provide support to the Communications and Marketing teams
• Document events in real-time in a manner that fits with the brand
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking extensively, standing, sitting, moving promotional materials
• Assist with organization of event equipment, supplies and other vendors
• Performing other duties as assigned and wearing many different hats

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Recent graduate or currently pursuing degree in a health, marketing, or communications-related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write reports and business correspondence and interacting with guests
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings
• Previous experience in event planning and execution preferred, but not required
• Consistent positive attitude and passion for health and wellness
• Skills or experience in digital marketing (social media management/content creating, posting, etc)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

The Events Coordinator is a part-time position requiring 20-30 hours a week, including evenings and weekends. It is required that the coordinator spend a minimum of 3 months in the role with the option to extend to 6 months, if in mutual agreement.
