Development and Grants Specialist Position
Crispus Attucks York has an opening for a Development and Grants Specialist. Under the supervision of the Director of Development and Marketing, this position writes compelling grant proposals for special projects, capital campaigns and other strategic initiatives to both public and private sources of funding. Also engages in a broad array of fundraising activities, including writing annual appeals, grant research and providing quarterly and annual grant reports, as needed. Additional responsibilities include stewarding the donor database, processing and acknowledging donations and miscellaneous writing-related activities such as articles, email blasts and copy editing. Provides writing support for department and organization needs, including reports, major donor and individual contribution letters, thank you letters, etc.
Full-time position with benefits. Excellent writing skills required. Bachelors and/or advanced degrees in English, journalism, social services with 1-2 years of writing both public grants, including federal and various state department proposals, and preparing applications to private foundations. Salary range is $48,000 - 52,000 DOE.
