Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Insurance Partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Lakeland, FL. We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic insurance professional who can provide superior service to our commercial clients, while enjoying a team culture and excellent work/life balance! This is an in-office or hybrid position, perfect for someone who enjoys the social interaction of being in a collaborative office setting.
This position will manage all aspects of servicing a commercial P&C book of mid-market business, which includes contractors, schools, churches, non-profits and human services, and hospitality.
The ideal candidates will have knowledge of processing and renewal of policies, endorsements, and rating and quoting of new and renewal business. Must also possess excellent customer service skills to answer policy and coverage-related questions. Other duties include checking accuracy of policies, processing endorsements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of correspondence, applications, quotes and marketing information in accordance with company workflows and procedures, and issuing certificates of insurance, as needed.

• Ability to multi-task, manage workflows and handle competing demands and priorities
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and make sound decisions, following agency procedures and guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Agency Management System experience required; Applied EPIC experience preferred
• At least 3 years' insurance experience required, preferably with an independent agency
• Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license
• Professional designations, such as CIC, are highly desired but not required
