Critical Process Systems Group is Hiring a HR Coordinator - Diversified Fluid Solutions (DFS) Near Boise, ID

This position is with our company Diversified Fluid Solutions, which manufactures a variety of chemical blending and distribution equipment, provides technical expertise, and delivers flawless support to meet a diverse array of high purity chemical applications.
Discovering your exciting role
The HR Coordinator will provide support primarily for Human Resources as well as being the first point of contact for customer and guests visiting the office. The functions of the role include administrative duties, employee support, HRIS entry and recruiting. This individual must maintain confidentiality and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by being an approachable, knowledgeable resource to all employees and a dedicated team member.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Work alongside HR Generalist to ensure that employee needs are being met and fulfilled.
  • Coordinate fun and engaging employee events and activities for the organization throughout the year including service recognition celebrations, various contests/games and prizes and coordinating and ordering lunches for Company meetings and functions as necessary.
  • Assist with coordinating new employee orientations and the onboarding program, including organizing and scheduling new hire required trainings and ensure they are completed in conjunction with our required timeframes.
  • Alongside the HR Generalist, initiate status change forms for promotions, salary changes, corrective actions, terminations, etc.
  • Create and maintain employee files, ensure all appropriate paperwork ahs been completed at time of hire and submitted to appropriate team members for processing.
  • Responsible for processing background checks for new hires and sets up drug-testing for incoming new hires.
  • Complete employee verification (employment verifications and I9 verifications).
  • Redirect higher level employee questions to appropriate team members.
  • Open HR related mail, scan for distribution to team members, benefits or payroll.
  • Assist in administering employee recognition programs such as Above and Beyond.
  • Ensure familiarity for our EAP offerings and direct employees to the appropriate resources.
  • Maintain the HR related info/news/flyers and post for display on the office TV screens and manually post HR news/info on bulletin boards.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects.
  • May assist with employee investigations and interviews when necessary.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including reviewing candidate resumes and making initial contact with qualified candidates.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews in appropriate calendars.
  • Prepare and maintain HR packets and ensure they are up to date.
  • Order name plates and business cards for new employees or changes as necessary.
  • Greet and assist visitors at front desk, including signing of NDA’s when appropriate.
  • Answer main phone line and direct calls appropriately.
  • Keep reception area, conference rooms, and break room orderly.
  • Manage birthday recognition and aide in award recognition distribution.
  • Order and track inventory of office supplies, printer paper, break room supplies, bathroom supplies, etc.
  • Keep company director updated with phone numbers, emails, pictures.
  • Make travel arrangements for DFS visitors (corporate, interviewees, and employees when necessary).
  • Copier maintenance (ordering toner, schedule maintenance, reporting, etc.).
  • Workforce development report tracking.
  • Meeting setup (schedule, refreshments, meals, supplies).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Show your expertise
  • Associates degree and a minimum of two years of related HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of service-orientation and responsiveness is essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite or MS 365 and ability to learn new HRIS systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems swiftly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
What can you expect
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
