Job Description:
- Policy Development: Develop and update infection prevention policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards for our client's medical center and outpatient facilities
- Surveillance and Support: Conduct infection prevention surveillance activities, assist healthcare teams in caring for infected patients, and implement isolation protocols as needed. Collaborate with Employee Health on influenza vaccination and tuberculosis screening programs
- Education and Communication: Provide education and recommendations to prevent infection spread among patients, visitors, healthcare staff, and the community. Stay updated on current standards and literature to optimize infection control practices while minimizing costs and risks
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN license
- Certified Infection Control (CIC)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in infection prevention
- Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance for Qualified Positions/Candidates
