Job Requirements

• At least 2 years experience is Preferred
• 7PM-7:30AM. 36 hours a week
• Will float to other MS units
• COVID Vaccine with Booster exemptions accepted
• Hold and maintain a current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate from the American Heart Association.

Job DescriptionRatios: 1:4 or 1:5 for medicine, depending on patient acuity and census; ratios are mandated by the state of California.
Patient Population (Diagnoses): Total hip & knee replacements, laminectomies, some traction, and ORIF (open reduction internal fixation)

• You may get transfers from the trauma ICU that are not ready for the rehab floor.

A busy unit with high patient turnover, total care for surgical patients, and physical demands.
PCA’s for pain control, On Q pumps/femoral blocks, OrthoPats, Epidural Pain Control, and CPM’s Average length of patient stay: 3 days
