Small Dental practice looking for a cross-trained RDA front staff member

Job Summary

• Seeking a positive & dependable individual who can manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with a small dental practice
• Demonstrates leadership and initiative in making sure the practice grows & is successful
• Has experience in putting together & presenting treatment plans and achieving case acceptance

Job Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree/GED and/or above; must be registered RDA with the state of Texas & hold current active license
• BLS or ACLS certificate of completion (if not completed, will see if the dental practice can plan something together as a team)
• Experience: 1-3 years of work experience
• Technology: must be proficient in typing and knowing basics of a computer (dental practice will be paperless)
• Dental software: Must be familiar with Open Dental

Overview of Responsibilities / Expectations

• Efficient & welcoming when answering incoming telephone calls & greeting patients in-person
• Capable of navigating through dental schedule and making sure that everything is running on time as much as possible
• Competent in putting together treatment plans, presenting the treatment plans & achieving successful acceptance
• Completing appointment phone calls & insurance verifications
• Comfortable speaking to patients regarding finances (e.g. collecting payments/co-pays, applying for Carecredit)
• Proficient in navigating through dental software, x-ray software & collecting/posting payments
• Competent to complete dental procedures (ie. extractions, restorative, crowns, etc)
