Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing Strategies & Market Analysis:
- Develop sourcing strategies through market studies to identify best practices, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct supply market analysis and track market drivers for spend categories.
- Support growth by identifying and implementing partnerships with suppliers.
- Participate in Make or Buy processes for new initiatives.
- Execute strategic sourcing practices aligned with business unit strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues on pricing, quality, and supply chain aspects.
- Implement Supplier Relationship Management to enhance supplier performance and collaboration.
- Launch RFQs/RFPs for selecting suppliers in targeted categories.
- Analyze proposals and make recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate quality, time, cost, and commercial terms.
- Lead contract ratification activities, ensuring interaction with suppliers and legal teams.
- Collaborate with R&I & Marketing innovation teams on manufacturing site capabilities and economic feasibility.
- Participate in project implementation, respecting budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor and communicate project status and address non-compliance issues.
- Ensure cross-functional project management processes are followed.
- Implement and monitor industrial performance metrics with co-manufacturer plants.
- Set up standard KPIs for suppliers.
- Evaluate and manage the performance of Contract Manufacturing suppliers.
- Define improvement objectives and necessary action plans.
- Manage the implementation of action plans.
- Manage overall spend for Contract Manufacturing sourcing.
- Establish budgets, track variances, and manage risks with finance and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement savings opportunities, validate with finance, and track savings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in strategic procurement, contract manufacturing, operations management, or similar roles.
- Experience in the food-processing industry, especially with perishable products, is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural, matrix environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Proactive and capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong data analysis and financial acumen.
- Ability to develop and implement sustainable initiatives and lead change.
- English proficiency required; French is a plus.
