Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a faith-based private preschool on the campus of CrossCity Christian Church in Fresno. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to partner with us in helping enrich the spirit, develop the mind, and prepare children for the future.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher with activities
- Provide support to children
- Supervise children during classroom activities and maintain a safe learning environment
- Help with classroom management and behavior reinforcement
- Collaborate with teacher
- Assist with individual child needs and provide additional help as required
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare, or caregiving roles
- Familiarity with working with children of various ages
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Ability to follow direction
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Skills:
- 12 units of ECE
- Caregiving experience
- Classroom management skills
- Experience working with children
- Understanding of childcare practices
