Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years
Responsibilities:
" Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with the input from assigned OSP engineers
" Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed
" Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, OSP Engineering (In-Franchise and Out of Franchise), Network Program Management, Operations, etc.
" Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
" Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules
" Tracks budget
" Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
" Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
" Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
" Understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and/or construction or experience in the field
" Background in project management in a field related to civil, environmental, or utility construction
" Ability to clearly articulate expectations and drive success.
DESIRED SKILLS:
" Organization and the ability to multi-task is a must
" Experience with MS Office suite of apps
" Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Coursework in programs associated with project management, Outside Plant Engineering, and a PMPO certification a plus.
