Description For The Network Field Engineer
- Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements.
- Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and interconnect facilities.
- Testing and analyzing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality
- Updating daily logs with site-specific information
- Composing clear and concise reports for system documentation
- Performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies
- Expected to be able to perform their duties with little supervision, and participate in cross-functional projects as scheduled.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of experience.
- Samsung USM experience and knowledge with cell site equipment CDU30 a plus.
