Position Overview:

We are offering a contract position with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee (FTE) after 90 days, or sooner if performance is satisfactory. Upon full-time conversion, employees will receive comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, education assistance, and paid uniforms, along with a $0.50/hr pay raise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually and using a forklift, move materials to designated areas.
• Load materials into trailers and dumpsters.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites.
• Sort and bale various recyclables.
• Properly document work performed.
• Lift objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• High school diploma or GED, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Shift Details:

• Work schedule follows a Pitman schedule: Mo, Tu, Fr, Sa one week, then Su, We, Th the next week.
• Every other weekend off.
• Paid holidays.

Onboarding Process:

• All selected candidates must complete the Cisive onboarding process, which can take 1-2 weeks and includes a criminal background check and drug screening.

Work Environment:

• Requires motor coordination involving arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
• The work takes place at a tire manufacturing facility with exposure to various weather conditions (heat or cold) and physical elements such as dirt, odors, and noise.
• The environment can be dirty; uniforms will be provided once converted to full-time status.
• All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety boots, earplugs, and gloves will be provided.
