Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer is seeking a night shift Production Tech at their facility in Caldwell, TX.
This is a contract position (possibility of extension or direct hire) that offers a starting pay rate of $21.00 / hour (benefits are available).
Position Overview : We are looking for a skilled and reliable Production Technician to join our Manufacturing Unit. This role involves operating process equipment to produce a consistent, high-quality product according to specific verbal and / or written instructions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
Major Responsibilities :
- Load and unload process equipment.
- Operate process equipment to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Maintain lot integrity by keeping accurate batch / run sheets.
- Understand and comply with safety regulations associated with chemical operations.
- Handle materials properly and safely.
- Perform tasks requiring the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Work effectively in hot or cold environments.
- Stand for extended periods during shifts.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating a forklift.
