We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Tech to join a great team on 1st Shift! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.

Schedule is 6AM - 4:30PM Mon-Fri (10 OT hours/week)

Responsibilities:

-Receipt of incoming components

-Shipment of outgoing product

-Accurate receipt of raw materials used in the production of our products including the verification of counts on incoming and outgoing shipments -Accurate preparation of all shipment documents

-Ability to prepare and ship packages via UPS, FedEx and other parcel and courier delivery companies

-Preparation and coordination of all freight shipments to customer facilities -Packaging product to ensure undamaged arrival at customer locations -Maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area

-Input receiving information into Access database for shipping/receiving -Maintaining and controlling an accurate/organized inventory area -Safely operate Forklift to load and unload deliveries

-Familiarity using barcode scanning devices and label generation software -Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained

-Housekeeping

-5S Organization

-Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Forklift or hi-lo certified

Beneficial Skills

-Computer Experience including Access, Outlook, Excel

-Experience in barcode generation software

- Experienced/Certified Forklift Operator
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of proper packaging techniques to ensure product safety during transit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
