Crossroads Animal Hospital is an active 5-doctor general practice that provides high-quality care and medicine for our canine and feline patients. We have top of the line equipment to provide excellent outpatient, inpatient, surgical, and dental care through in-house laboratory, digital x-ray (including dental x-ray), laser therapy, acupuncture, cryosurgery, and much more.

Requirements, Roles, and Responsibilities include:

- Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow

- Prepares estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients

- Prepares and maintains the treatment area, surgical suite, and exams rooms

- Proficient ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner

- Accurately interpret, document, and keep medical records in accordance with hospital policy

- Proficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin

- Ability to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and tests

- Competent venipuncture / IVC placement skills

- Skilled in anesthesia and surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery

- Skilled in dental prophylaxis

- Working independently and collaboratively with team members of all hospital disciplines

- Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude

- Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs

- Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
