Crossroads Church is Hiring a Kids Club Director of Digital Content/Brand Near Cincinnati, OH
Job Title: Kids Club Director of Digital Content/Brand Reports to: Kids Club Director - Jason Eads And Joel Firebaugh for specific projects. Location: People Ministries Full Time/Exempt Job summary: Kids Club Director of Digital Content Strategy will be solely in charge of ensuring that we are maximizing the potential for the Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, ect..) articles, videos and podcasts that we create to reach as many people as possible through wise digital strategies, with a goal of aggressively expanding our reach to all of generation alpha. The Kids Club Director of Digital Content Strategy will work alongside the Studio, and IT to ensure our brand as a kids club is represented well across sites as well as our social platforms. This role will also be responsible for shaping and protecting the overall Kids Club Brand as outlined below. General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Content Team and the Studio to ensure our goals are being met. This includes consulting on the design of Crossroads.net/media, the Digest, and other related products.
Serve as the primary intermediary between the Content Team as you create social media to ensure our goals are being met through social media promotion.
Research and pursue other opportunities to place our digital content to maximize reach. This includes other platforms like Pinterest and Tik Tok, as well as aggregators of this type of content and paid opportunities.
Work with Site Directors at each site to get content that represents all aspects of Kids Club.
Consult with other parts of the organization(i.e. Team BT) on best-in-class SEO strategies, as needed.
Regularly study Social Media Rhythms.
Innovating about when to post on social media to best reach Gen Alpha/Gen Z
Take creative liberties to increase the “brand” of Crossroads Kids Club on shirts/ merch/ and anywhere eyes may see it.
Qualifications: Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years working in the field
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Extensive experience with social media
Extensive experience in digital publishing and SEO strategies.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with other departments and influence action and change.
Strong strategic thinking & ability to implement strategies.
Priority setting & clear communication
Project management & planning experience
Good writing skills
Must understand and accept our responsibility as teachers in God’s eyes (James 3:1)
Should possess a high level of spiritual and biblical maturity to understand how to effectively teach people about God.
Must be actively involved in the Crossroads community
Must commit to expectations detailed in the “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines and pursuing personal purity.
Physical requirements:
Must be willing and able to work most weekends as well as some weeknights
Must be able to walk up to 5 miles and lift 25 lbs
