Crossroads Courier, Inc. is Hiring an Assistant Operations Manager Near St Louis, MO
Pay:
- $65,000/year
- Biweekly
- Plan and execute the staff and driver schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Select, onboard, and follow up with drivers' routes
- Meet/exceed KPI's for cost control, growth, courier and staff performance
- Assess Operations team and provide plans to address training needs
- Route tracking
- Maintain route detail documentation
- Responsive to driver issues within 1 business day
- Responsive to customer issues
- Participate in weekend on call management rotation
- Quarterly one on one meetings with the Operations team and others as assigned
- Assist with annual performance reviews for Operations team and others as assigned
- Maintain job descriptions for Operations team
- Prepare agenda for weekly Operations Meeting
- Ensure Operations team is completing all assigned duties
- Complete weekly administrative settlement items
- Contribute to new business implementation
- Help manage special projects
- Oversee everyday schedule coverage
- Oversee shift change and provide feedback to improve inter-shift communication
- Participate in recurring conference calls with high profile customers
- Complete daily manager checklist
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all people (line-staff to CEO)
- Capacity to make decisions in a high stress environment
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and adjust as the day unfolds
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Available to be on call afterhours and weekends
- May be needed to work 2nd shift and weekends
- Bachelor's degree preferred
