Nestled in the heart of Marlborough, MA, Crossroads Continuum is a revered private, non-profit organization committed to revolutionizing the lives of individuals with autism. As the Director of Human Resources, you will wield overarching authority over the HR domain, encompassing employee recruitment, benefits administration, meticulous personnel record-keeping, workers' compensation, leave management, employment policies, compliance with HR regulations, and a spectrum of both complex and routine administrative services. Integral to your role is the embodiment of Crossroads' values and culture in every facet of HR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition Mastery: Lead the full-cycle recruitment for all open positions, attracting top-tier talent to our organization.
  • Regulatory Savvy: Stay abreast of state and federal HR regulations, ensuring full compliance, including adherence to MA DOE standards.
  • EEOC Compliance: Maintain a compliant archive of applicant files, championing equal employment opportunities.
  • Benefit Coordination: Orchestrate employee benefits and communication, enhancing staff satisfaction and well-being.
  • Leave Management: Oversee leaves, COBRA administration, terminations, and conduct insightful exit interviews.
  • Employment Verification: Handle employment-related inquiries with precision, including verification and unemployment compensation claims.
  • Records Management: Maintain impeccable employee records, ensure current and accurate I-9 documentation, and manage background checks.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce policies and procedures, ensuring organizational compliance and efficiency.
  • Disciplinary Oversight: Coordinate and manage the employee disciplinary process with fairness and transparency.
  • Workers' Compensation: Manage workers' compensation incidents, reporting, and claims with diligence and care.
  • Professional Development: Record and promote professional development and educational achievements.
  • Performance Reviews: Oversee the performance review process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of staff evaluations.
  • Business Metrics Reporting: Provide monthly reports on key business statistics, as determined by the CEO.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Foster a culture of fairness, equitability, and advocacy that permeates all HR functions.
Key Requirements
  • Educational Excellence: Bachelor’s degree in HRM with 10 years of experience required; Master’s degree and 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
  • Professional Certification: PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification strongly desired.
  • Communication Prowess: Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Genius: Superior problem-solving abilities with the knack to formulate and communicate strategic recommendations.
