Families may also be referred to MFM specialists for issues pertaining to the baby. Fetuses may be growth restricted, have a genetic or structural disorder or be affected by a viral syndrome or multiple gestation pregnancy. To care for these women, one needs to attend to the effects of pregnancy on these conditions, as well as the condition#s effects on the pregnancy. Our MFM specialists work closely with genetic counselors, specialists in ultrasound (sonographers), diabetes educators and social workers to provide comprehensive care to each family referred to us. # Requirements: Education/Certification/Licensure Current NY State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.# Current Basic Life Support Certification. Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and establish a leadership role in an emergency. Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues and approaches in area of expertise. Demonstrated ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards. #Demonstrated knowledge of health promotion, health risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques. Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00#DOE

Position Description:
