- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of one of the following educational programs:
- Successful completion in a Certified Nursing Aid program with certificate
- OR
- Successful completion in the fundamentals of nursing coursework and clinical rotation in hospital setting OR
- 1 year previous experience as a patient care tech in an ED
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year, 2 year preferred of patient care experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred:
- Completion of a phlebotomy course
- Required
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification a time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date
