Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analysis Engineering Consultant to support decision-making processes through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data, developing and maintaining data analysis tools and systems, and providing actionable recommendations based on data insights. Experience in the transit industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Analysis:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
• Use statistical methods and tools to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.

1. Develop and Maintain Data Analysis Tools:

• Develop and maintain data analysis tools and systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure the reliability and accuracy of data analysis tools and systems.

1. Provide Recommendations:

• Offer strategic recommendations for improvements and modifications based on data analysis.
• Present findings and suggestions to stakeholders to inform decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis, data engineering, and statistical analysis.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in the transit industry is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
