Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Experience (UX) Consultant to enhance various aspects of our user experience across both physical and digital environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX research, design, and analysis, with a keen ability to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. Experience in the transit industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct UX Research:

• Perform user interviews, card sorting, usability testing, and other research methods to identify user needs and pain points.
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform UX design decisions.

1. Analyze User Feedback and Data:

• Evaluate user feedback, behavioral data, and industry best practices to identify trends and patterns.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights to drive user-centered design.

1. Develop User Stories and Requirements:

• Create detailed user stories and define user experience requirements for various products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user needs are effectively translated into design solutions.

1. Provide Recommendations:

• Offer strategic recommendations for improvements and modifications to the user experience based on thorough research and analysis.
• Present findings and suggestions to stakeholders to inform decision-making and enhance overall user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UX research, design, and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in various UX research methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in UX design.
• Experience in the transit industry is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
