About The RoleWe are looking to hire a Backend Engineer to help develop our third party ingest pipelines as part of Next-Gen SIEM.
What You'll DoYou will be a part of the Platform group and help build the systems that ingest and parse third party data at petabyte scale. You will interact with product managers and other engineers in building both internal and external facing services. You will be responsible for building fault tolerant, high scalable cloud systems using Golang.
This role is open to candidates located in Eastern Time.
What You’ll Need

• Must be a US Citizen of Green Card holder living on US soil to be considered for this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with NoSQL and Relational DB’s
• Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
• Experience in building data platforms at scale
• GoLang/Java/Python skills with strong debugging skills
• Experience working in Linux

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based development and orchestration.
• Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)
• Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $180,000 per year variable/incentive compensation equity benefits.
