About the Role. We are seeking an organized and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable department. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee the team responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records for our US and Canada businesses. Your role involves training and evaluating staff, ensuring timely payments, and building strong relationships both internally and externally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hiring, training, and motivating accounts payable staff members.
• Overseeing routine department activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintaining accurate financial and vendor records.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management.
• Setting and achieving department objectives.
• Developing and enforcing processes, policies and controls to enhance efficiency.
• Building and maintaining relationships with employees and vendors.

Job Requirements:

• 5-10 years AP Management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with business solutions and ERP software (JD Edwards experience is a plus)
• Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
